Man Arrested For Pulling Gun Outside Hard Rock Cafe

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee November 16, 2010

Seattlecrime reader Molly sent us a tip Saturday night about a big police response near the Hard Rock Cafe near Pike Place.

As it turns out, officers were called to 1st and Pike around 7:00pm on November 13th after receiving a report of a man "brandishing a gun in front of the Hard Rock Cafe."

Officers drew their weapons and quickly took the man into custody.

Police located the man's wife at the scene, who denied that her husband had pulled out his gun.

However, a police report notes that while the man had a holster on his belt, officers found his gun in his front pants pocket.

Police arrested the man for assault and booked him into the King County Jail.
