At the Bellevue Hyatt, Congressman Dave Reichert (R-8) just declared victory over Democratic challenger Suzan DelBene.

"I just got a phone call from Suzan DelBene, [who] has congratulated me on my win," Reichert said.

Introduced by Republican Party chair Luke Esser as "our favorite sheriff," Reichert made brief remarks to the crowd, which yelled, "Dave! Dave! Dave!"

"People like you and me are gathering all across the country. We're excited about the change, real change, that's coming to the country," Reichert said. "We're going to make government accountable to people. … We don't want government to keep spending our money. Stop spending, stop taxing. God bless America."
