On Other Blogs Today (Early Edition): Seattle vs. NYC

NASA (yes, that NASA) has a long piece on its climate blog today comparing Seattle and New York City---two cities that "share an important feature: They're both leaders in addressing the issue of climate change."

Why is NASA interested in Seattle? According to the story, both Seattle and New York used NASA (and NOAA) data on climate change to come up with proposed climate fixes---in Seattle's case, reducing the amount people drive, and in New York's, reducing the amount of emissions produced by buildings.
