A few of you sent in emails asking about the half-dozen squad cars that blocked off the intersection at 4th and James this morning, right outside the King County courthouse.

Police tell us officers received a report that a woman in her 60s was walking down the street, carrying a handgun, and mumbling to herself.

Police showed up in force and took the woman into custody without incident.
