Afternoon Jolt #1: Latest Batch of King County Votes Goes Murray's Way

A batch of about 45,000 votes in King County today broke U.S. Sen. Murray's way---66.88 percent for Murray---moving her margin from 61.82 to 37.84 after last night's count to 62.40 to 37.27 in King County.

That pushed her statewide margin up from 50.5 to 49.5 yesterday to 50.80 to 49.20—a difference of 25,066 votes as opposed to 14,000 yesterday.
