King County prosecutors have filed second-degree murder charges against a 27-year-old Seattle man accused in a fatal International District shooting.

Prosecutors contend Pierce Alfonso Dubois killed Jarret Jackson on a Seattle street Saturday for reasons unclear.

"The facts show that the defendant gunned the victim down on a city street -- shooting the victim six times," Senior Deputy Prosecutor Cheryl Snow told the court, noting that Jackson was already facing drug and gun charges in separate cases.
