1. The conservative Washington Policy Center says
R-52 (the $500 million bond measure to retrofit schools) is redundant because the state is already spending money on school retrofits. They also say R-52s promises of new jobs are questionable.
2. The Washington State Wire reports that state AG Rob McKenna has ordered all foreclosure trustees in the state to suspend foreclosures until they get their papers in order.
3. Bill Gates' Gates Foundation has given money to ABC News to help fund coverage of health conditions among the poor. Seattle Weekly asks if this will slant ABC's reporting on the Gates Foundation's work to improve global health conditions.

The Seattle Times thinks you should know which of your representatives voted to overturn Initiative 960, the Tim Eyman initiative that made it virtually impossible for the legislature to raise taxes (instead of cutting health care for kids.) We're not sure if they think you should know about that second part, though.
