After a succession of polls showing U.S. Sen. Murray with a comfortable-esque lead, the Washington State Republican Party is cheering two new polls that came out today, showing Murray only slightly ahead—48 to 47 in one and 49 to 47 in the other—pointing out that an 18-year incumbent shouldn't be drifting below 50 percent.
