An SPD patrol car was mangled in a crash in downtown Seattle over the weekend.

"You should see the other guy"

Around 8:30pm Friday night, an officer was responding to a a fight at 5th and Pine when they collided with an ambulance at 5th and Battery.

SPD spokesman Mark Jamieson says the officer was taken to the hospital to get checked out and was released.

Jamieson says no one was seriously injured in the crash.
