The Morning Blotter: Man Tells Police He Was Shot In Greenwood During Drug Deal
Gang unit detectives are investigating a man's claim that he was shot during a drug deal in Greenwood last week.
Police were called to Harborview in the early morning hours of September 17th after a man showed up with a gunshot wound to his right arm.
The man told officers he had driven to a location near 105th and Greenwood in North Seattle to buy marijuana.
The man met with a woman, who sold him pot, and was sitting in his own vehicle when several people in the dealer's car got into an argument and fired off several shots.
The man was unable to provide police with any information about the other vehicle or its passengers.
The man told police his girlfriend drove him to the hospital following the shooting.
Gang unit detectives are investigating.
