The Morning Blotter: Man Slashed, Stabbed At Rainier and Garden
A man was slashed and stabbed in broad daylight in South Seattle last Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to a South Seattle home around 1:30pm by a man, who told officers he'd been walking near Rainier and Garden four men—one of whom was wearing all blue clothing and sporting a gold grill piece) approached him.
One of the suspects pulled out a knife, slashed the victim on the right side of his face, and then stabbed him in the stomach.
The suspects then fled on foot.
The victim walked home and called 911.
The victim told police he believed he had been stabbed "in retaliation for a fist fight he was involved in earlier in the evening."
Police weren't able to locate any of the suspects.
