Stabbing In Chinatown

On September 23rd at approximately 12:04 a.m. officers responded to the report of a stabbing near 7th Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that a male victim was stabbed in the chest. The victim was subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center by SFD medics with life-threatening injuries.
An adult male suspect is in custody. Investigating officers also recovered a knife.
There are no further details at this time. This remains an active and on-going investigation.
Seattle police appear to have one person in custody after a man in his 40s was stabbed at Maynard and Jackson just after midnight.
A Seattlecrime.com tipper at the scene says there was a fight at Maynard and Jackson prior to the stabbing.
