On Other Blogs Today: DelBene Calls for Debates with Reichert
1. Schmudget has done it again: An analysis
(complete with pie charts!) on the effects of this biennium's budget cuts. This time, they focus (grimly) on the health care and environmental implications.
2. Jonah Spangenthal-Lee at seattlecrime.com has a letter from the SPD regarding the fatal shooting of John T. Williams.
His headline features a quote from the letter: "Everyone wishes that the ... death of Mr. John T. Williams never happened."
3. OMG! U.S. Rep. Reichert has a spokesperson? They talk to the press? Who knew?
Anyway, evidently they do, and over at the PI.com's Stragne Bedfellows blog they responded to charges that Reichert was being hypocritical about bashing the stimulus bill while simultaneously pushing for stim projects in his district.
4. Speaking of Dave Reichert, his challenger Suzan DelBene wants four debates with the sitting congressman. Seattle Times' Nicole Tsong has the story.
