On Other Blogs Today: Health Care Lawsuit Likely to Go Forward
1. Red County's Todd Myers notes that Stuart Elway's past polls have been a little off the mark
. Apparently, in 2004 Elway predicted a massive twelve-point victory for Gregoire, and the final result gave her only a six-point margin. According to Myers, this is evidence that Sen. Patty Murray fans shouldn't read too much into Elway's latest poll which has Murray up by nine.
2. The Economic Opportunity Institute makes the case for the Higher Earner's Income Tax. Basically, it's pretty groovy: Health care, education, and no more B&O taxes. (See, those libs are starting to get hep to small biz.)
3. According to Jordan Schraeder at the Tacoma News Tribune, a Florida judge is thinking about sending part of the health care lawsuit to trial .
Famously, state Attorney General Rob McKenna has joined the suit on behalf of Washington. You might remember Governor Gregoire blasting him, saying that the attorneys general involved with the suit don't represent Washingtonians.
