Last Night: Gelato in Ballard

Last night, my friend Blair and I got together, drank a few beers, and made parmesan potato soup; it's an old family recipe perfect for winter weather (like today).

Afterwards, we hit up D'Ambrosio Gelato in Ballard for some dessert and to visit another friend who works there. But he had no time for that. There was a steady crowd of people in and out for the forty (or so) minutes we lingered.

Blair had yogurt (she was pretty full of soup, and bacon, and the things you eat while cooking because soup takes two hours to prepare). I had Chestnut Gelato and Strawberry Sorbet.

Both were fantastic, and we highly recommend the place.
