Last night, I got a copy of the new White House diaries by Jimmy Carter. I turned right to November 4, 1979 to see what he had to say.  I read straight through from there to the end of his term.

Man, that was 9/11 in slow-motion.

But here's the other germane thing. There was a lot of talk when Barack Obama was elected about FDR. Now, I'm thinking Jimmy Carter.
