One South Park man may not be so generous with his cigarettes from now on. He was standing outside his apartment around 10:30 a.m. July 29 smoking when two women approached him. The shorter of the women gestured that she wanted a cigarette, and he gave her one, according to the police report.

They stood there smoking for a couple minutes while the taller woman walked around and eyeballed his van. The shorter woman asked to use his bathroom, but he had to repeatedly tell her no.

Meanwhile, the taller woman came up behind him and hit him on the head and neck with a BB gun that looked like a real gun. He almost fell, but was able to knock the gun out of her hands before she hit him again. It wasn't until he saw the gun fall that he realized it was a gun, scaring the piss out of him. The shorter woman grabbed his in-dash DVD player from the van and they both took off, yelling for someone to call the police.

The victim told police he thinks he was targeted because he is Mexican. No suspects were located.
