Twenty Year Old Gets Twenty Years for Leschi Slaying
At 18, Aaron Sullivan was a young man who wanted to go somewhere.
Enjoying a the Seattle summer and watching his friends prepare to head away for college, Sullivan told his mother, Debra, he wanted to see the world.
He never got the chance.
A 7.62 mm bullet fired by another teen -- a young man who'd never really met Sullivan but found himself wrapped up in a teenage feud -- left him dead in his car on a Leschi neighborhood street.
On Friday, that man, 20-year-old Tristan Appleberry, learned where he'll be going -- a state prison, for the next 20 years.
