Police and medics are responding to a shooting on the west side of Beacon Hill, in the 1400 block of South Hinds.

According to scanner traffic, the female suspect took off from the scene in a blue 80's Honda driven by another female.

The fire department tells us the victim has died.

Update: It appears the hunt for the suspect is over. We're getting word that police attempted to stop the suspect at 144th & Interurban, where she then fatally shot herself.

According to police, this was an incident of domestic violence and the female suspect was recently involved in a divorce.

Police say the woman survived the shooting and is en route to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
