By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee August 18, 2010

The man who allegedly attacked a neighbor with a bucket of urine, feces, and vomit earlier this month is finally off the streets after police arrested him near the scene of the crime last night.

Police were unable to find and arrest Ronald Vickey Ellis following the August 8th incident, but police had been looking for Ellis after the city attorney's office filed assault charges against Ellis on Monday.

Police arrested at about 5:15pm last night when patrol officers spotted him near Rainier Ave S and S Walker.

Ellis is scheduled to appear in court at the King County Jail this morning.

SPD spokesman Mark Jamieson could not say whether SPD would be working with health officials to find out how Ellis managed to save up a bucket of foulness in his apartment, but said Ellis's building managers had been made aware of he incident.
