On Other Blogs Today: McGinn is Jerry Brown. In a Good Way.

2) At the Olympian's Politics Blog, Brad Shannon reports that the state's Legislative Ethics Board has rejected a complaint against state Sen. Chris Marr (D-6, Spokane). The complaint was based on the fact that Marr's campaign web site, Facebook site, and other sites linked to his official state legislature page, which was created at taxpayer expense.
3) Crosscut's Knute Berger suggests that Mike McGinn is following in former California Governor Jerry Brown's footsteps. However, not in the way you might think, calling the infamous Gov. Moonbeam "visionary" and "thrifty."
4) Who knew? Back in its heyday, the downtown Moore Theater housed an Olympic-size swimming pool and a spa. Former columnist and current City Council member Jean Godden has a full report on her blog.
5) Capitol Hill Seattle blog had some sad news: The house belonging to Stranger publisher (and our former longtime colleague) Tim Keck was badly damaged in a major electrical fire this afternoon. The good news: No one was injured, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
