iRob: Man's iPhone Taken At Gunpoint Downtown

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee August 26, 2010

It feels like it's been awhile since we saw an iPhone robbery in the reports. Maybe the Criminal Underworld got together and decided they were more interested in Android phones after that Antenna-Gate business.

Well, at least one guy didn't get the memo:

August 22nd, 6:30pm

The victim was walking home from church when he felt "something kind of not right".

The cictim planned to cross Pine St. in the 600 blk when Suspect suddenly walked up very close to him and pointed a gun at his stomach while demanding, "Give me your phone."

The victim was unable to describe the gun, he believed it to be real.

The victim gave the phone to suspect, who was last seen eastbound on Pine St.

The victim is not certain he would recognize the Suspect if he saw him again.

AT & T shut the i-phone 4, which is valued at seven hundred dollars.
