Will SPD interim Chief John Diaz make it all the way through the confirmation process without a scratch?

A City Hall source tells Seattlecrime.com that Diaz is "likely" to be confirmed 9-0 by the city council.

While this seems pretty duuuuuh to the six of you who've been intently watching the chief confirmation process the whole way through, I'm a bit surprised to hear there won't even be a little bit of dissent on the dais following last week's testy public hearing.
