From the SPD Blotter:

On August 19th, shortly after 8:00 PM, a 48 year old male was in a verbal altercation with an unknown female at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Pine Street.  While arguing with the female, an unknown man approached the victim from his blindside and punched him in the head.  This caused the victim to fall to the ground, striking his head.  The victim did lose consciousness for a period of time.  Seattle Fire Department responded and transported the victim to Harborview.  Officers were able to locate the suspect about an hour later and take him into custody.  The 18 year old was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.  The victim remains at the hospital.
