Man With Possible Stab Wound Refuses Police Help Downtown
A police report says officers initiated a "social contact" with a "chronic narcotics user" in downtown Seattle earlier this week and quickly realized he was bleeding from a stab wound to the gut "that appeared to be serious."
Told man police he'd been stabbed SIX HOURS EARLIER (!!!) by a woman, but then changed his story and said a man had stabbed him. He later told medics he had "fallen down on something sharp."
Medics tried to transport the man to Harborview, but he told them he didn't want their help and signed a form refusing medical attention.
The police report says the man "appeared to be high."
