Earlier today, I posted about Republican U.S. Rep. candidate Jaime Herrera's new fundraising advantage over her GOP rival, David Castillo. (They're both running for U.S. Democratic Rep. Brian Baird's open seat in the 3rd Congressional district. Denny Heck is the main Democratic candidate.)

As I said, both GOPers are vying for Tea Party cred to get the conservative base behind them.
