What a shit week for SPD.

Seattle Times:

Seattle police said Thursday they have opened an internal investigation into alleged misconduct by a department captain.

Department spokesman Sgt. Sean Whitcomb said the department's Office of Professional Accountability (OPA) received a complaint about the captain on June 11, alleging violations of department policies and procedures.

Sources told The Seattle Times that the complaint stems from an allegation that a captain has been involved in an affair with an officer's wife. The captain has taken personal leave amid the investigation, one source said.
