An Ohio man visiting Seattle was attacked and robbed in the University District earlier this week.

A police report says just before midnight on June 14th, the man was unloading the trunk of his rental car, which was parked near 16th Ave NE and NE 50th St, when three men walked up to him, grabbed him from behind, and threw him on the ground.

Two of the suspects rifled through the victim's car trunk while the third suspect stood over the victim

The men fled the scene, and police weren't able to find them.

it's unclear from the report whether the group of men stole anything from the victim, but the report notes the victim's messenger bag and computer bag were in trunk at the time of the robbery.
