Teens Stab West Seattle Store Clerk During Robbery
When police arrived on at a West Seattle convenience store on June 14th after receiving a report of a stabbing, officers found a clerk "bleeding profusely from the back of his head."
According to a police report, shortly before 4:30pm, three teens walked into a store on 35th Ave SW and SW Raymond Street. One of the teens stood by the door as a lookout, while the two other teens went back to the cooler and each grabbed an 18-pack.
The group tried to leave the store without paying, but the clerk stepped in front of them and "placed his hands up to keep them from leaving," the report says.
The group shoved the clerk out into the parking lot and one of the teens stabbed the clerk in the back of the head with a knife before they all fled. Police arrested the three suspects near the scene.
Even though the victim sustained a slash and puncture wound to the back of his head, the report says he was still able to show officers surveillance footage from the store to help identify the suspects.
The teens were taken to the Youth Service Center and were actually booked. I swear.
