Stabbing At Beacon Hill Club

At least one man was stabbed at two others were assaulted during a melee at a Beacon Hill club shortly after 12:30am Wednesday morning.
Witnesses at the Saigon Nice club on Columbia Dr S and S Ferdinand S told police the fight began when two groups got into a verbal altercation, which led to the violent brawl.
Witnesses told police the suspect or suspects may have used broken beer bottles to stab the victims, all men in their mid-20s.
One of the victims was stabbed in his back and side, according to the scanner. The other two victims sustained cuts and bruises.
At least one witness at the scene told police the suspect was an Asian male, 5'9, wearing a black and white shirt described as a "jail shirt.
A number of witnesses at the scene were uncooperative with police and apparently developed what one officer referred to as "temporary amnesia."
Gang units were called to the scene shortly before 1:00am.

On June 23rd, at approximately 12:36 AM, South Precinct officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a restaurant in the 4800 Block of Beacon Avenue South. Officers arrived and located five male victims at Columbian and South Ferdinand. Three of the victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center with stab wounds and a fourth male showed up at the hospital a short time later. It appears that the stab wounds were caused by broken beer bottles. The other two victims were treated at the scene for injuries related to being struck by chairs, fists, etc. It appears that there were at least six victims total. Upon arriving at the establishment, officers found a lot of blood inside, although the staff was attempting to clean it up very quickly. The scene was contained and processed. In addition, Gang Unit detectives responded to interview the victims and witnesses. The victims were uncooperative at the time, and there are no known suspects at this time. Detectives continue to investigate.
