One man was killed and another was seriously wounded in a shooting in Belltown early this morning.

Police say officers working in Belltown heard gunshots at about 2:45am at 2nd and Blanchard.

At the scene, officers found two men down on the sidewalk.

A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead and a 44-year-old man was rushed to Harborview with life-threatening injuries.

Homicide detectives have interviewed witnesses, but do not currently have any suspects. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
