1. The Seattle Times Politics Northwest blog reports on Governor Gregoire's botched interview with KING-TV
where the Governor sat down to discuss KING 5's investigation into the state ferry system.

Unfortunately, she hadn't watched. Zing! Instead of discussing wasted millions covered in the KING-TV investigation, Gregoire apparently spent most of the interview praising her transportation leaders—Secretary of Transportation Paula Hammond, and Director of State Ferries David Moseley.

2. Sam Taylor at the Bellingham Herald published a Rob McKenna press release. The GOP AG is happy that SCOTUS came down in favor of gun rights.


3. Andy Nicholas at Schmudget (the blog by the lefty economists at the Washington Budget & Policy Center) covers I-1107
(the proposal to repeal the temporary soda tax increase). His point: The repeal would decimate our budget.

4. Over at HA Seattle, Goldy continues to pursue the Goldmark v. McKenna legal battle. This time he compares Rob McKenna with Deborah Senn
to make a jab at the mainstream media:
"We all know that our media establishment just loves Rob McKenna. Well, no, they don’t just love McKenna, they’re in love with him and his open-records-defending, reporter-shield-law-touting, faux-moderate, different-kinda-Republican, geeky good looks. Through the adoring eyes of our media’s adolescent crush, McKenna is downright dreamy… "
