1. Governor Gregoire took a trip to the north country to visit the deep bore tunnel in Vancouver, B.C., reports
Jim Camden on the Spokesman Review's Spin Control blog.

"The Washington delegation is seeking to learn firsthand about the multi-billion dollar transportation mega-project and what lessons can be learned as the state moves forward with the Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement project," Camden wrote, quoting the governor's staff.

Noticeably missing from the Washington entourage, however, was Mayor Mike McGinn, the Seattle tunnel's worst enemy.

2. The Seattle Times has the complete wrap
on the latest instance of heavy handed police action.

3.

Man, Election 2010 is going to be great.

4. One must never forget the Slog: They've got Mary Traverse on pretty ladies' insides
, Kelly O on British puppets, and Cienna Madrid making fun of old women's "pancake breasts."
