A few weeks ago in Fizz, we encouraged PubliCola readers to vote for Transportation Choices Coalition, a local group that advocates for alternatives to driving in Seattle and Olympia, in a contest for a $1,000 donation from local bluegrass band Million Dollar Nile. Today, TCC director Rob Johnson told PubliCola that "thanks to the [Seattle Transit Blog ] and PubliCola readers that voted, we won, and by a few hundred votes to boot." They'll be accepting the donation at the group's show at the Tractor Tavern tonight.
