Ceis Confirms Road-Rage Incident
We didn't get a chance to talk to former deputy mayor Tim Ceis before posting yesterday's Morning Fizz item about rumors that he'd been involved in a road-rage incident in West Seattle.
However, we did talk to Ceis this morning, and he confirmed most of the details of accounts we'd heard: Ceis and another driver got into a shouting match after the second driver cut Ceis off in West Seattle. At that point, both men got out of their cars, and the other driver "started coming at me like he was a boxer," Ceis says.
The second driver (whom Ceis called "a real nut job") shoved Ceis, at which point, Ceis says, he "just backed away from him," got in his car, and drove away.
Scary-sounding all around.
