Yesterday, Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna (most likely the Republican candidate for governor in 2012) was in the headlines as a good guy for the right because of his lawsuit against the health care reform bill.

Today, McKenna is in the headlines as a good guy for the left right because he won the R-71 case in the U.S. Supreme  Court, which is tied to gay rights.

That's some impressive bipartisan cred.

McKenna has also won two other politically rewarding U.S. Supreme Court cases: the anti-Democratic-Party/anti-Republican-Party/Pro-Independent top-two primary case and an anti-teachers union case—not a very popular group right now—preventing unions from spending dues on political campaigns without member opt-in.

In fact, he's 3-0 in the Supreme Court.

Just saying, Jay.
