Item 1: A threat? Or is he just seriously lacking knife skills?

LAST THURSDAY SUSPECT WAS SITTING IN THE REC. ROOM CUTTING A PIECE OF WATERMELON. COMPLAINANT SAID AS HE WAS WALKING TOWARDS [THE SUSPECT] THE SUSPECT LOOKED AT HIM AND SAID "YOU BETTER GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I CUT YOUR DICK OFF". COMPLAINANT SAID THE SUSPECT HELD HIS KNIFE IN A THREATENING MANNER TOWARDS HIM AS HE MADE THE STATEMENT.

There is nothing else in the report to tell us whether this was a threat, or simply a warning about the dangers of standing near someone cutting fruit. There are no details of an arrest, and it's not even entirely clear where this took place. The address listed on the report is "4XX 2 AV ET S," which doesn't appear to exist.

Item 2: Things Are Tough All Over edition:

On 5-12-2010 at about 1644 hours [the victim] was working at [the Wells Fargo bank in Georgetown when] an unknown male...robbed her. [Staff] called Seattle police 911 to report the incident. As officers responded information was broadcast that the lone suspect was a WM 5-08 possibly part Hispanic with shoulder length dark hair, wearing black clothes and thick lens eyeglasses. The suspect was believed to have fled on foot east bound across Corson Ave. S. to the 900 block of S. Harney St. where he entered a silver color Dodge caravan (unknown plate). The suspect was reported as being last seen driving north bound on Airport Way S. from S. Harney St. Witness stated the suspect handed her a demand note which was left on the counter. The suspect spoke to saying "It's a bad economy right now. Hurry up."

Bank robbers are an economic barometer.
