Math problem of the day: $90,000 worth of sausage casing = how many feet of animal intestine?

From the PI.Com:

Following the theft of thousands of the edible husks that hold together those tubes of beef, fowl and swine, Seattle Police and King County prosecutors claim to have caught a man feeding a meat-market black market.

It was, they contend, an inside job, one which cost a Seattle sausage supplier $90,000 in lost product.

The owner of Overseas Casings Co. contacted authorities in November after about $20,000 worth of the husks went missing from the factory in the 600 block of South Nevada Street. Having learned that two large shipments had also gone missing, the man began to suspect an employee was responsible for the thefts.

According to charging documents, the business owner was contacted by a Clackamas, Ore., meat processor who'd received a call from someone offering to sell him sausage casings at a discounted rate. The Overseas Casings Co. owner contacted the would-be seller and prepared to buy back his goods.
