1. The Washington Bus—a group that works to get young people engaged in the political process—hosts its monthly "Buzz" meetup at Moe Bar this evening, with one free drink for monthly Bus members.

2. Alleycat Acres, a recently formed urban farming collective, is holding a fundraiser on Thursday featuring DJs, door prizes, drinks, and food to help them expand their urban farming empire in Seattle. PubliCola cosponsors.

3. The Seattle parks board will get a briefing from parks staff on the parks department’s community gardens, its tree-maintenance and removal policies, and its specialized programs, which may be targeted for budget cuts.
