Driver in Fremont Stolen Car Hit-and-Run Pleads Guilty

The driver of a stolen red Chevy Nova that plowed into an SUV at Fremont Ave. and 39th December 27 has pleaded guilty, according to the P.I. Aydin Moghadaspour, 26, faces five to seven years.

Running a red light, Moghadaspour's Nova slammed into a crossing SUV and showered two pedestrians with debris. A 42-year-old woman walking with her husband suffered a fractured scull and head injuries; her 44-year-old husband sustained bruises and soft tissue damage.

Moghadaspour's passenger also sustained multiple broken bones.

The stolen Nova destroyed, Moghadaspour pushed his passenger off of him and ran from the crash scene. Police found him hiding at his mother's home two days later.
