The Morning Blotter: Robbery Round-Up

Here's a round-up of a robbery reports released late last week:

2nd and Bell

Shortly before 10:30pm on April 17th, a robber armed with a silver handgun walked up to a man at 2nd and Bell, stuck the gun in victim's chest, and told him "give me everything you have." The victim gave up his wallet, money, and cellphone. The suspect then left the scene.

14th Ave S and S Main

Police were called to Swedish Hospital at about 2:30am on April 16 after a man was beaten with a rock and robbed in the Central District. The victim told police he was walking home near 14th Ave S and S Main St when another man, who was "clean cut and didn't appear to be a danger," approached him and demanded the victim's wallet. The suspect then struck the victim in the forehead with a "medium-sized rock", knocking him to the ground. The suspect then kicked the victim in the ribs and stole his cellphone, wallet, keys, and $80-$100.

12 AV S and S Massachusetts St

A man on his way home from the "race tracks" was mugged by two Hispanic males and a Hispanic female at 12th and Massachussets at about 7:00pm on April 17th. The man told police the suspects ran up to him, sprayed him in the face with an "unknown liquid," and knocked him to the ground. The group then stole the man's wallet, ID, and $3,000, and fled.

Police weren't immediately able to locate a suspect in any of these cases, according to police reports. You can take a look at this post for a map of other robberies around the city in the last month.
