Police Arrest 23-Year-Old Suspect In South Seattle Homicide
Seattle police have arrested a 23-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting 24-year-old Andrew Ray Johnson in South Seattle last week.
From the SPD Blotter:
On April 2nd, Seattle Police Homicide detectives developed information during the course of their investigation that led them to the 4500 block of 12th Avenue South in Seattle. There they located and arrested suspect Isaiah Henry Nelson-Harris, a 23-year-old Seattle man, who is responsible for the murder of a 24-year-old male victim on March 28, 2010 that occurred in the 4600 block of South Brandon Street. Suspect Nelson-Harris was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Murder. There are no additional suspects outstanding.
More coming.
Seattle police could not immediately provide details about how Nelson-Harris was connected to the shooting, or whether he and Johnson knew each other.
A Facebook page which appears to belong to Nelson-Harris includes several references to Seattle-area gangs like the Central District-based Deuce 0s, and lists Nelson-Harris as a member of the Folk Nation gang.
