By SeattleCrime April 28, 2010

Seattle police say they are on the hunt for the armed, Jetta-driving drugstore cowboy responsible for the heist we reported earlier this month in which 29 bottles of Oxycontin worth more than $14,000 were taken.

Armed robber being sought

On April 7, 2010, at approximately 1200 p.m., the suspect entered a pharmacy in the 1500 block of  N. 115th St., displayed a handgun and demanded oxycontin.

The suspect was wearing a mask and armed with a silver handgun. He entered the pharmacy through the front door of the building and exited through an unmarked rear exit.  The suspect was seen driving away eastbound in a silver/gray, 4-door Volks Wagen Jetta that was parked on N 115th St.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and slim build.  He was wearing a black hoodie,  a mask, a black glove on his right hand and faded blue jeans (baggy), and white tennis shoes with black soles.

The suspect was armed/displayed a silver handgun and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about this incident or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call the Seattle Police Robbery Unit at 206-684-5535.
