Robber Attacks, Chases Man In North Seattle
Seattle police say a robber attacked a man in North Seattle last week and then chased the victim as he tried to flee.
The victim was walking to a bus stop at 105th and Aurora at around 10:00pm on April 24th when he "observed a shadow appear behind him."
When the man turned around, he was hit with a hard object, and heard another man "demand his property," a police report says.
The victim took off running and headed for a nearby gas station, but the suspect followed.
A witness called 911, and the suspect quickly fled from the gas station. Unfortunately, the report says the witness didn't get a good look at the suspect.
Following the incident, the victim told police the suspect wasn't able to actually make off with any of is property.
Police gave the man a ride home, and the man told officers his parents would drive him to the hospital.
