Police Investigating Possible Assault At Greenlake

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee April 21, 2010

Seattle Police swarmed Greenlake shortly before midnight Wednesday night after a man walked out of the park bleeding from his head.

Details are still coming in, but it appears the victim told police he was sleeping in the park when another man woke him up, slashed him across the forehead, and then fled.

It sounds like the incident occurred near the horse shoe pits on the west side of the park.

Police said the victim was being transported to Harborview.

It's unclear whether police have a suspect description.
