Seatlecrime.com reader Brendan tipped us to a heavy police presence at 89th and Aurora shortly after 1:00pm today.

Scanner traffic indicates an officer called for fast backup after, police tell us, the driver of a car officers had been following slammed on his brakes, and a man jumped out of the car and ran at officers.

Officers detained at least two people in the car.
