More Details On Northgate Food Court Assault

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee April 1, 2010

Remember that robbery at the Northgate Cinnabon we told you about last week?

SPD just released the police report for the incident, so we thought we'd follow up with a few more details.

According to the report, the victim told police he was walking through the food court at about 9:30pm on March 27th when three black males jumped him.

The suspects punched the man in the face, knocked him to the ground, and kicked him while he was laying on the ground. The suspects then took the man's wallet and Blackberry cell phone, and took off. Security cameras caught the men—one wearing a Chicago Bulls jacket and another with "gold colored jeweled teeth."—fleeing the mall in a white 4-door compact vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla.

The victim told police "he did not know the suspects and words were not exchanged before the assault." The report indicates the victim "was not cooperative and did not want to give a statement" to police.

Medics treated the man at the scene for a bloody nose.
