Seattle police say members of a "street gang" assaulted a man in an alley in Pioneer Square last week.

According to a police report, the victim told police he walking down a dark alley at about 11:20pm on April 5th when he  "was confronted by three aggressive black male suspects" who shoved the man to the ground and kicked him.

The victim got up and fled, and the three suspects chased after him, shouting "South Side," the report says.

The man went home after the assault but visited Harborview the next day for treatment for injuries sustained in the attack.
