Last Night
Last Night
Usually, I suck at trivia. I think the team only keeps letting me show up on the off chance that they need me for a round about transportation demand management or the names of Seattle's six bascule bridges. I can't remember the titles of movies and even though I won a radio contest in the seventh grade by identifying songs from their first few seconds, my music ID-ing ability is virtually nonexistent.
However, last night they finally did a round that was made for me: Identifying street intersections based on nearby landmarks. (For example, the clue for the intersection where I work would be: Virginia Inn, Tully's, and Baby & Co.) Stare out the bus window for enough hours and in enough parts of town, and it turns out you actually pick up some useful information.
Quiz night at the Old Pequliar, where they also have 2 for $2 hot dogs and rotating drink specials, happens every Tuesday night at 8. 1722 NW Market Street in Ballard.
