The school vandalism beat is HOT this morning!

In addition to the break-in at Viewlands Elementary we reported on earlier this morning, police are also investigating an incident vandalism at Whitman Middle School after security staff found graffiti and a weapon on school property.

A police report says a security staff member at Whitman Middle School—on 92nd and 15th NW in Crown Hill—was patrolling the campus at about 1:30am on March 28th and found that someone had forced open a trailer at the school and tagged it with "red graffiti" The security officer also found a knife lying on the ground outside the trailer.

The police report says officers were "unable to make out the writing" left in the trailer.
